The Double Drum Digital Tablet Friability Test Apparatus is a microprocessor based instrument designed to monitor the resistance of tablets to stresses and to decide their suitability for the further process. These tests are carried out by quality control and R & D departments in pharmaceutical industry. A fixed 25 RPM motor drives the unique Universal Acrylic Drum (Same Drum can be used at the left or right side of the Instrument). Digital microprocessor based counter is provided to pre-set the revolution & to automatically stop the motor with alarm. This feature eliminates the tedious calculation of timer mode. In power failure, the nonvolatile memory of the microprocessor remembers the last mode of operation, and complete the test after the power supply is resumed. Easy loading & unloading of the drum with positive grip is provided. Unloading of the drum after every test is required to remove the traces of loose dust on the drum for accurate calculation of the friability. It has the following features:

The Digital Tablet Disintegration Test Apparatus is a microprocessor based instrument designed for accurate determination of disintegration time of tablets, capsules, as per IP/BP/USP standard. These tests are carried out by quality control and R & D departments in pharmaceutical industry. Two hotplates are provided to maintain the temperature of the liquid media (1000 m1 beaker). Two batches of six tablets each can be tested simultaneously. Solid state Heat Regulator is provided to control the heat of the hotplate. A constant speed 30 RPM motor drive single bar up & down smoothly to lift two baskets. The stroke is adjusted as per the specifications. A simple & unique arrangement of loading & unloading the basket makes it user friendly. Digital pre-set Timer 99.59 hr is provided to set the integration time & to switch off the motor. In power failure, the non-volatile memory of the microprocessor remember the last mode of operation, and complete the test after the power supply is resumed. It has the following features:
